We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Support Assistant to join our team at Ribbons & Reeves Limited. As a Teaching Assistant for SEND Students, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with SEND
Assisting with lesson delivery and classroom management
Collaborating with teachers and the SENCO to implement individualised learning plans
Encouraging students' social and emotional development in a safe environment
Supporting students in developing independence and academic confidence
Requirements
A 1st Class or 2:1 degree from a top UK university
Passion for working with children, especially those with SEND
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
Prior experience working with SEND students is desirable but not essential
