Job Title: Special Needs Education Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Needs Education Assistant to join our team at a secondary school in Greater London. The successful candidate will provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), developing individualised learning plans and delivering engaging lessons to enhance students' understanding and progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support and guidance to students with SEN.
  • Develop individualised learning plans based on students' specific requirements and capabilities.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding and progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience working with students with SEN in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of SEN support strategies and educational best practices.
