Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor to join our team in York. This full-time permanent position comes with a competitive salary of £26,250 - £28,926 per annum and offers the chance to make a significant impact on the success of our HR department.

As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to managers and staff across various HR functions. Your duties will include:
  • Providing HR advice and support on recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training.
  • Assisting with the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant employment law.
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring the smooth operation of HR systems.
  • Supporting the recruitment and onboarding process, including conducting interviews and processing new starters.
  • Promoting employee wellbeing and contributing to employee engagement initiatives.

Essential Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • Proven experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar HR role.
  • A strong understanding of employment law and best practices in HR.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • A valid DBS check is required for this role.
