We are seeking an experienced Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team in the London Borough of Greenwich.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide one-to-one support to a male student diagnosed with ADHD, SEMH & behaviour difficulties at KS4.

Working closely with teachers, parents/guardians, and other professionals, the Behavioural Support Specialist will develop and implement individualised behaviour intervention plans to promote positive behaviours and social skills.

The role involves working directly with the student in various settings, including the classroom and community, to support their gradual reintegration into education full-time.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with challenging behaviours and be able to employ effective behaviour management techniques to promote positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide one-to-one support to the student with behavioural challenges in and outside the school setting.
  2. Develop and implement individualised behaviour intervention plans tailored to the student's needs.
  3. Work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and external professionals to support the student's educational and behavioural goals.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and behaviour.

Requirements:

  1. Enhanced DBS or ability to pay for a new one ASAP.
  2. Easy commutable distance to the London Borough of Greenwich.

Salary: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience).
