Cowley Road Medical Practice is a vibrant, community-focused GP practice in East Oxford, offering an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic to join our team. As a member of our close-knit practice, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient-centred care and contributing to our mission to provide exceptional healthcare services.

The successful candidate will possess experience of primary care, with a broad understanding of medical presentations and the ability to carry out assessments. A Non-Medical Prescriber (v300) qualification would also be beneficial in ensuring timely autonomous patient management.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment at first point of contact from a triage list, acting as an autonomous clinician with support from GPs and Prescribing Paramedics.
  • Proactively identify, diagnose and manage treatment plans for patients at risk of developing long-term conditions.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, integrating drug and non-drug-based treatment methods into management plans.
