Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior SACT Nurse to join our team at our state-of-the-art cancer care centre in Oxford. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in delivering chemotherapy nursing services to patients, providing specialist advice and support, and contributing to the overall quality of care.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have significant experience in oncology nursing, including chemotherapy administration and management. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. A recognised chemotherapy qualification and experience in blood transfusion and bone marrow biopsies are also essential.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality chemotherapy nursing services to patients, including assessing health needs and developing individualised care plans
- Provide specialist advice and support to patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based nursing practices and protocols
- Work closely with medical consultants and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to relevant laws and regulations
