At GenesisCare, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior SACT Nurse to join our team at our state-of-the-art cancer care centre in Oxford.

The Role:

As a Senior SACT Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality chemotherapy nursing services to patients, providing specialist advice and support, and deputising for the line manager as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert nursing care and support to patients and their families, ensuring continuity of high-standard care throughout their treatment journey.
  • Assess patient needs, identify appropriate care steps, and ensure effective care delivery.
  • Manage patient caseloads, liaise with medical consultants, order diagnostic tests, and run nurse-led clinics.
  • Work autonomously, providing clinical leadership and ensuring accurate patient care plans.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in intravenous access, chemotherapy delivery, and patient care.
Requirements:
  • NMC Registered Nurse qualification.
  • UKONS SACT Passport or willingness to complete within three months.
  • Recognised chemotherapy qualification and UKONS training in oncology telephone triage.
