Job Overview
Cowley Road Medical Practice, a vibrant and community-focused GP practice in East Oxford, is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Paramedic to join our team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

About the Role
This exciting opportunity involves working autonomously as part of a close-knit practice team, ensuring seamless service provision. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients at first point of contact, with support from GPs and Prescribing Paramedics. Experience in primary care, urgent care centres, or emergency medicine settings is essential, along with a proven track record of delivering autonomous and patient-centred care.

Main Responsibilities
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients at first point of contact
- Providing high-quality service to patients, working within defined procedures and protocols
- Collaborating with the District Nursing Team, Mental Health Services, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate and systematic documentation of patient interactions and clinical care provided

Requirements
- Independent prescriber (Non-Medical Prescriber v300 course)
- Degree in Nursing/Paramedic
- Commitment to continuing professional development
- Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and diagnostic skills
- Proficiency in minor illness and minor injury treatment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. The NHS offers a range of benefits, including comprehensive training and development opportunities, pension scheme, and annual leave.
