We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at The Lakes Distillery. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of chefs to deliver exceptional food quality and presentation
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to drive business growth
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute events and functions
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize efficiency

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on creativity and innovation
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
