Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Internal Account Manager to join our dynamic team at Universal Business Team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in managing inbound inquiries, building lasting customer relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming sales enquiries via phone and email, converting them into profitable orders.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximise product mix and profit margins.
- Follow up on quotes persistently to ensure high conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and data in the CRM system.
- Contribute to the company's revenue and profit goals, with daily performance tracking.
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience, whether in a telephone-based or field-based role, with a strong track record of exceeding targets.
- Excellent phone selling skills, with the ability to actively listen, engage, and build rapport with customers.
- Proficient in CRM systems and sales best practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Familiarity with technical or complex information, particularly in the trailer parts industry, is a plus.
