**Job Title:** SEN Assessment & Review Coordinator
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist SEN Coordinator to join our team at Remedy Recruitment Group. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a proven track record in SEN casework and EHC Plan writing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the local authority, you will be responsible for conducting SEN assessments and reviews, ensuring that children receive the necessary support to meet their needs.
- You will also be involved in developing and maintaining effective relationships with schools, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 months' experience in SEN casework and EHC Plan writing for a Local Authority is essential. You must have extensive experience working on a post-14 team; applicants without this will not be considered.
- Knowledge of The Children and Families Act 2014, SEND Code of Practice 2015 & SEND Regulations 2014 is mandatory.
- An exceptionally high standard of written skills for producing EHCPs is required.
- Excellent organisational skills that can meet conflicting demands to ensure deadlines are always met.
About the Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
