SEN Support Assistant Opportunity

A permanent SEN Support Assistant role is available at a specialist SEN school in Enfield. This is a unique opportunity to support students with complex learning needs, providing individualized assistance and ensuring a safe engaging learning environment.

This SEN Support Assistant role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' academic and personal development within a supportive and purpose-driven school community. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing one-on-one and small-group support to students with moderate to severe learning challenges, helping them overcome obstacles to learning and development.
  • Collaborating closely with teachers and SEN staff to adapt resources and activities that foster student progress and confidence.
  • Supporting classroom management and creating a welcoming inclusive environment that meets students' unique social and emotional needs.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in an SEN or educational support role, ideally with students who have moderate to severe learning challenges. A strong interpersonal and communication skillset, along with a caring and patient approach, is essential for supporting diverse learners.
