**Job Title:** SEN Support Worker

About the Role:

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Worker to provide tailored support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a dynamic school in Enfield.

The successful candidate will work closely with students diagnosed with ASD, promoting their academic, social, and emotional development within the classroom. The role involves implementing effective teaching strategies and behaviour management techniques in collaboration with the classroom teacher and SENCO.

  • Supporting students' learning needs through tailored activities and individual sessions
  • Developing positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Maintaining a safe and respectful classroom environment

This role requires previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with a focus on SEN/ASD support. A strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and experience with relevant interventions are essential. Excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and flexibility are also required.
