About the Role

As an Administrative Assistant at PeoplePlus, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative systems and processes. Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive administrative support across high-profile contracts, adhering to all quality standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that administrative systems and processes operate in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide administrative support to various teams, including the recruitment of learners for courses and maintaining accurate records of achievement.
  • Conduct prisoner inductions into the education provision and promote available courses to potential learners.
  • Provide ongoing advice and guidance to prisoners, as well as close liaison with partner agencies and the prison allocation and activity team.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an individual with a passion for administration and relevant experience in a similar environment. You will hold an NVQ Level 2 Business Administration qualification or equivalent (Level 3 desirable), and be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of IT-based systems, including Word, Excel, and Access packages.

  • Good organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workload accordingly.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, including the ability to build rapport with a wide range of individuals.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Results-focused with the personal drive and resilience to overcome hurdles and barriers.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is based on experience and qualifications. To be eligible for the top end of the band (£21,000 - £24,000), you will need to hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent.
