Job Title: Finance Business Partner

Location: Flexible working arrangements available

Salary: £65,000 + depending on skills and experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at BAE Systems (New). As a strategic liaison between business units and Programme data teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of major transformation programmes and improving data quality across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide organisational support to projects within Finance, ensuring the success of projects and driving business insight and decision making
  • Support initiatives to improve the accuracy of data throughout the enterprise and drive business insight and decision making
  • Uphold data quality activities through key performance indicators across the organisation to support process improvements
  • Take responsibility for the assessment of data sensitivity and classification of data owned and used by Finance, and support the ownership of the data by ensuring there is a clear RACI matrix within the organisation
  • Make recommendations to address multi-faceted problems and inform strategic and operational decision making
  • Supply guidance and assurance for the decommissioning and archive of data in compliance with the data policy

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Fully qualified accountant ACCA, CIMA, or ACA
  • Experience working within a finance function
  • Some exposure to working in a finance data environment, supporting decision making

Desirable:

  • DAMA qualified, CDMP
  • Prior experience with complex projects
