Strategic Sales Director Opportunity in EMEA

Estimated salary: 150,000 - 220,000 per year

Sabre Corporation is seeking an experienced Strategic Sales Director to lead our Airline IT product sales efforts in the EMEA region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, account management, and business development, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding customer relationships.

As a Strategic Sales Director, you will be responsible for defining and executing a business development plan for Sabre's Airline IT products within assigned territories in EMEA.

You will operate in a pursuit leadership function, guiding a team of solution managers, account managers, project, and delivery experts to qualify leads, define solutions, manage internal financial approval processes, and generate proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining and executing a business development plan for Sabre's Airline IT products within assigned territories in EMEA.
  • Leveraging your extensive network and expertise to identify new sales opportunities and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with airline stakeholders, including C-Level executives.
  • Coordinating with various functions within the airline to acquire a good understanding of customer needs and develop targeted sales strategies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including solution management, delivery, marketing, finance, legal, and executive leadership team to ensure successful pursuit execution.
  • Providing coaching and guidance to junior team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales and account management.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding customer relationships.
  • Strong network and expertise in the Airline industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of driving successful outcomes.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/activities simultaneously is essential.
  • Intimate knowledge of the Airline industry is a real plus.
  • Education: Bachelor degree or higher.
