About the Role

The Event Director is responsible for driving strategic development and financial performance of RX Global's largest events, maintaining a high profile within the global travel industry.

Key responsibilities include identifying growth opportunities, developing new service solutions based on customer needs, and delivering positive business outcomes to customers and revenue growth for RX.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning vision, strategy, goals, decisions, and policies of RXUK.
  • Driving brand and event revenue, strategic development, and high-quality delivery.
  • Accountable for all activities related to your brand.
  • Setting show budget and undertaking timely and accurate re-forecasts.
  • Driving individual and team performance to create high-performing show teams.
  • Creating a show strategy that optimizes all growth levers, includes robust sales and marketing plans, and uses customer data.
  • Owning and communicating event vision and strategy, aligning and connecting the team with objectives to the event and overall RX business vision and strategy.
  • Creating superior customer solutions by identifying customer needs and problems and leveraging solutions to transform business needs.
  • Working with operations to deliver the event in line with budget and strategy.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate credibility in brand & product management.
  • Experience in building successful brands/events.
  • Proven track record of customer-focused leadership.
  • Track record of successfully building new business segments while growing existing portfolios.
  • Demonstrate high levels of planning at both operational and strategic levels.
  • Experience in establishing strategic alliances/business communities.
  • Experience in developing new lines of business and products, skilled in reviewing, recommending, and integrating new innovations.
  • Passion for leading diverse teams of direct and indirect reports with strong authentic leadership style and active focus on customer engagement.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We promote a healthy work-life balance across the organization, offering appealing working prospects for our people.
