Job Title: Site Health, Safety and Environmental Manager

Join Omega, a global multi-site manufacturer, as we seek a passionate and people-centric Health, Safety & Environmental professional to lead our site's cultural change programme in HSE excellence.

We are looking for a senior Advisor ready for a bigger challenge or an established Site HSE Manager who can empower a dedicated production and operations workforce to own the safety agenda.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Health, Safety & Environmental function across the site, responsible for implementing H&SE management systems.
  • Develop and implement the site's Environment, Health & Safety deployment plan to deliver objectives in line with the Group Sustainability and HSE Strategy.
  • Coach and mentor the teams around HSE initiatives.
  • Lead the investigation of accidents, Environmental and H&S incidents to identify, implement and maintain corrective actions.
  • Analyze EH&S lagging and leading KPIs to identify improvement.
  • Embed an operational HSE framework.
Requirements:
  • FMCG experience ideally within logistics, supply chain or manufacturing environments.
  • Empower all levels of workforce, floor to SLT.
  • Visible and approachable - ALWAYS
  • A NEBOSH qualification, Certificate or Diploma.
  • Delivering an effective framework for safety program management.
  • Lead and support the development of the company sustainability strategy.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert – accountable and responsible safety person.
  • Delivering an effective framework of incident investigation, auditing, and training oversight.
  • Delivering safety support, coaching and advice to the operational leadership.
  • Detailed knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.
  • Manufacturing and factory site experience preferred.
  • PUWER and / or DESEAR would be awesome.
