About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental professional to join our team as a Site Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our site's Environment, Health, and Safety management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of the site's Environment, Health, and Safety deployment plan to deliver objectives in line with the Group Sustainability and HSE Strategy
  • Coach and mentor the teams around HSE initiatives
  • Lead the investigation of accidents, Environmental and H&S incidents to identify, implement and maintain corrective actions
  • Analyze EH&S lagging and leading KPIs to identify improvement
  • Embed an operational HSE framework
Requirements
  • FMCG experience ideally within logistics, supply chain or manufacturing environments
  • Empower all levels of workforce, floor to SLT
  • Visible and approachable - ALWAYS
  • A NEBOSH qualification, Certificate or Diploma
  • Delivering an effective framework for safety program management
  • Lead and support the development of the company sustainability strategy
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert – accountable and responsible safety person
  • Delivering an effective framework of incident investigation, auditing, and training oversight
  • Delivering safety support, coaching and advice to the operational leadership
  • Detailed knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations
  • Manufacturing and factory site experience preferred
  • PUWER and / or DESEAR would be awesome
