Health and Safety Consultant Role Overview
Recruitment Robin Ltd is seeking an ambitious and experienced full-time Health and Safety Consultant to join our Cheshire-based consultancy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects, on-site teams, and supporting our continued company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on all matters relating to health, safety, welfare, and statutory compliance.
- Project management and coordination.
- Conducting thorough risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
- Site visits to client properties to monitor and maintain safety standards.
- Overseeing staff safety on-site and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Liaising with Property Managers, Contractors, Clients, and Local Authorities to ensure the smooth running of projects from concept through to completion.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Strong background in Construction Health and Safety with a full understanding of CDM Regulations.
- NEBOSH qualified and Fire Risk Assessment trained.
- P402 Asbestos training is desirable but not essential.
- Effective communicator at various levels with a good eye for detail and the ability to problem-solve.
- Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Full UK driving license and use of own vehicle.
Working Hours and Location
You will be working 8.00am-5.00pm, Monday to Friday, from our Crewe office and from various client sites around the UK. Travel to client sites will be required, and occasional nights away may be necessary.
