About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Allen & York. As a key member of our Site Operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and implementing effective safety protocols.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on top-tier COMAH sites in a safety capacity and possess a strong understanding of management systems such as ISO 45001, 14001, and 50001. A CMIOSH certification or working towards it is highly desirable.

This is a site-based role, requiring the successful candidate to be based in the Cheshire region. We are committed to creating an inclusive work environment and welcome applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of their background or characteristics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and implement effective safety protocols
  • Develop and maintain management systems to ensure site safety
  • Collaborate with site operations to ensure seamless implementation of safety measures
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide training and support to site staff on safety procedures and protocols
