As a Mortuary Administration Assistant, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of the mortuary department at Princess Royal University Hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day running of the office is efficient and well-organized. This includes managing administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service to families and funeral directors.

You will work closely with the Mortuary Manager and other healthcare professionals to ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with Trust policies and procedures. This includes preparing deceased patients for viewing, conducting viewings, and maintaining mortuary databases and registers.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including access to training and development opportunities, to support your career growth and well-being.

Job Requirements
  • Educated to GCSE level A-C grade or equivalent, including English and Maths.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
