Defence Industry Sales Professional

Our client, an award-winning defence company based in Chelmsford, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive to join their team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Sales Role Overview:

The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, identifying and pursuing potential customers, and developing and maintaining existing customer relationships. This will involve working closely with the sponsorship & exhibition sales, guesting and conference production teams to maximise every opportunity.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contact new prospects via telephone and email to understand their conditions/criteria for participating at an event.
  • Participate in regular team training and 1-to-1 call coaching sessions to develop sales skills and knowledge.
  • Work closely with internal teams to optimise performance and achieve sales targets.
  • Utilise CRM systems to manage leads and customer interactions effectively.
  • Travel to attend conferences, social events and meetings as required.

What You'll Get:

The successful Sales Executive will receive a competitive basic salary of up to £24,000, with uncapped on-target commission. Additionally, you'll benefit from a range of company benefits, including travel opportunities and professional development.
