This role involves managing referrals, appointments, and general service inquiries, as well as coordinating clinical and non-clinical appointments and maintaining accurate records.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage referrals and appointments, ensuring timely and effective communication with patients and staff.
  • Coordinate clinical and non-clinical appointments, including changes and cancellations.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, using office systems and software.
  • Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including minute-taking and data entry.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a high-quality, resource-efficient service.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Experience of working in an administration role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to use office systems and software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Business Administration.
  • GCE/GCSE in Mathematics and English at Grade C or above.
