Behaviour Support Assistant

This Behaviour Support Assistant role is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with SEND or SEMH.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to remain calm under pressure, and have a proven track record of building strong relationships with students and staff.

A good understanding of SEND or SEMH is crucial, as well as being empathetic and able to work with students between the ages of 11 and 16.

This temporary position offers a competitive salary and the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.

About the Role:
  • Provide support to students with SEMH and associated complex needs
  • Develop and implement effective de-escalation strategies
  • Collaborate with students and staff to achieve academic and personal goals

Salary: £28,000 per year
