Senior Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

Estimated Salary: £112,000 - £143,505 per annum.


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist to join our team at North East London NHS Foundation Trust. As a specialist in child and adolescent mental health care, you will be responsible for providing senior medical support and guidance to the team, working directly with young people and their families, and participating in the on-call rota.


Job Description
  • Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs, promoting collaborative working and active liaison with other health and social professionals and agencies.
  • Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team, supporting your peers and team leader, and being an effective team member.
  • Work directly with young people and their families, liaising as appropriate with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals.
  • Participate in the on-call rota, with a Category B on-call supplement of 2% of basic salary.

  • Full GMC registration
  • CCT or equivalent
  • Section 12 Approval
