We are seeking an exceptional Lead Mental Health Professional to join our team at the North East London NHS Foundation Trust. This is a dynamic opportunity to develop and oversee the clinical model for children, adolescents, and their families, based on the CYP IAPT principles and the iTHRIVE framework.

About the Role

As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for supporting and developing the workforce through supervision, consultation, and training. You will also share your expertise within multidisciplinary teams and leadership meetings while maintaining a small caseload of young people with complex needs.

Successful candidates will possess significant knowledge and experience of principal evidence-based psychological therapies, including CBT, Family Therapy, DBT, and other psychotherapeutic approaches. For the Eating Disorder Service post, experience of FT-AN, FT-BN, and CBT-ED is essential, along with collaborative working skills across schools, hospitals, social care, and other agencies to improve pathways for young people with eating disorders.

You will work closely with our team to provide high-quality mental health support to children, adolescents, and their families. Your expertise will be invaluable in shaping our clinical model and contributing to the development of our workforce.

Requirements
  • MSc or PhD in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Family Therapy, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy)
  • Extensive experience in working with children, adolescents, and their families, particularly those with co-morbid difficulties and special needs
  • Proven track record in supervision, training, and developing others
