The role requires preparing section 7 reports, conducting interviews with children and parents, and compiling section 37 reports when the court has concerns about a child's welfare.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description- Prepare Section 7 Reports: Assist the court in reaching a decision on child proceedings cases by preparing comprehensive reports.
- Conduct Interviews: Gather information from children and parents through thorough interviews to compile accurate reports.
- Compile Section 37 Reports: Prepare reports when the court has concerns about a child's welfare, highlighting necessary interventions.
- Qualifications: Degree in social work
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of post-qualification experience working in a Children Team that involves court work
- Skills: Excellent communication and interviewing skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong analytical skills
