The salary for this position is estimated to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description
  1. Prepare Section 7 Reports: Assist the court in reaching a decision on child proceedings cases by preparing comprehensive reports.
  2. Conduct Interviews: Gather information from children and parents through thorough interviews to compile accurate reports.
  3. Compile Section 37 Reports: Prepare reports when the court has concerns about a child's welfare, highlighting necessary interventions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualifications: Degree in social work
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of post-qualification experience working in a Children Team that involves court work
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interviewing skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong analytical skills
