Child Mental Health Specialist

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our established team at North East London NHS Foundation Trust. As a CAMHS Practitioner, you will be working with children and young people who are experiencing mental health difficulties in the community and hospital settings.
The successful candidate will have a professional qualification and experience in managing risk presentations in young people's mental health. They will also have knowledge of the legal frameworks that relate to the care and treatment of children and young people.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assessing and managing clinical risk using dynamic case formulation skills.
- Delivering evidence-based approaches to therapy, including DBT/CBT/Systemic & Creative therapies.
- Working collaboratively with service users to agree their treatment and safety plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Professional registration or significant CAMHS experience.
- Experience of working with children and young people with mental health difficulties.
- Ability to work independently as well as being a collaborative member of the Multidisciplinary Team.
