Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking an experienced CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Southend-on-Sea. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to children and young people with mental health needs.
The ideal candidate will have Full GMC registration with a license to practice, CCT or equivalent, and Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it. You will also need to demonstrate Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it, and inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.
Key Responsibilities
As a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide care to children and young people with mental health needs across Southend-on-Sea. Your duties will include working directly with young people and their families, liaising with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals, and participating in the on-call rota with a Category B on-call supplement.

Salary Information
This role attracts an annual salary of £95,000 - £104,387, depending on experience.
