Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Child in Need specialist to join our team at Sanctuary Personnel Ltd. As a key member of our Child Protection Team, you will be responsible for managing caseloads of identified children and families, providing support to foster carers and families, and working with them to prevent children from becoming looked after.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Holding caseloads of identified children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Supporting foster carers and families through regular visits, phone calls, and home visits to maintain placements and improve quality of life.
  • Providing intensive support to families when placements break down, including developing plans to prevent future breakdowns.
  • Working with families to prevent children from becoming looked after by addressing issues that may lead to removal.
  • Collaborating with Social Workers and other professionals to address complex cases and provide holistic support.
  • Monitoring and evaluating requirements to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families.


Requirements:
  • A Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  • Continual professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and legislation.
  • Social Work England registration is required.


Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience.
