We are currently seeking a skilled CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide senior medical support and guidance, work directly with young people and their families, and participate in the on-call rota.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing specialist care to children and young people with mental health needs
  • Supporting your peers and team leader in a collaborative working environment
  • Liaising with other external CAMHS providers and acute hospitals

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of current developments in mental health care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £105,000 - £139,000 per annum (pro-rata), plus a range of benefits including relocation expenses, career development opportunities, and a just and compassionate culture.
