Mental Health Support Teams: Enhancing School Mental Health

Our Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) are a new service designed to support children and young people with mild to moderate mental health and emotional wellbeing difficulties within educational settings. As a key member of our MHSTs, you will play a crucial role in enhancing school mental health by working collaboratively with schools to develop a comprehensive approach to mental health.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support children and young people: Provide evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health problems.
  • Enhance school mental health: Assist schools in developing a comprehensive approach to mental health.
  • Offer timely advice: Provide guidance to school staff and liaise with other services to ensure children and young people receive the right support and remain in education.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, education, or social work.
  • Experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000-£30,000 per annum and a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave.
