About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team as Clinical Lead in Community Mental Health Services.

This is an exciting opportunity for a part-time (4 PA's) Consultant Psychiatrist to lead the development and delivery of Old Age Psychiatry services across Cheshire and Wirral Partnership Trust footprint.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical leadership and guidance to the Older Adults Community Mental Health Team.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the service, working closely with the team manager and locality manager.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans that address the unique needs of older adults with mental health conditions.
Person Specification
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management.
  • Excellent clinical skills using a biopsychosocial perspective and wide medical knowledge.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
