About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diversity and Inclusion Manager to join our team at the Bank of England. As a key member of our People Directorate, you will play a critical role in shaping our talent acquisition and development strategy, with a focus on diversity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition and development strategy that aligns with the Bank's diversity and inclusion goals.
  • Lead the recruitment and selection process for senior leadership roles and future talent programs in the Leeds office.
  • Partner with the People Directorate and business areas to provide strategic direction and professional advice on talent acquisition and development.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including hiring managers, senior leadership teams, and external partners.
  • Develop and maintain the Bank's recruitment marketing brand to ensure our web, social media, and recruitment advertising presence meets our talent acquisition goals.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of our talent acquisition and development strategies, using management information to inform decision-making.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in leading talent acquisition and development strategies in a similar role.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience of building relationships and influencing at all levels.
  • Team management experience, with the ability to manage and lead through others.
  • Project management skills, with experience of delivering complex projects.
  • Experience of including diversity and inclusion initiatives within talent acquisition.
  • Extensive experience of third-party supplier strategy and management.
  • Proven track record in delivering talent acquisition strategies across multiple skill sets.
  • A broader understanding of human resources best practice.
  • Experience in establishing Early Careers (Apprenticeships and Graduate) Schemes.
  • Experience working with Learning & Development.
  • A mix of private and public sector talent acquisition experience.
