About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diversity and Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team at the Bank of England. As a key member of our People Directorate, you will play a critical role in shaping our talent acquisition strategy and driving diversity and inclusion initiatives across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to attract and select diverse talent for the Leeds office and other non-London locations.
  • Partner with the People Directorate and business areas to provide strategic direction and expert advice on talent acquisition, talent management, and HR best practices.
  • Lead the recruitment strategy for the Leeds office, including establishing the recruitment of senior leadership teams, coaching and advising hiring managers, and senior leadership teams on all recruitment and talent matters.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, HR teams, and external partners to drive diversity and inclusion initiatives and talent acquisition goals.
  • Develop and maintain the Bank's recruitment marketing brand to ensure our web, social media, and recruitment advertising presence meets our talent acquisition goals.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Team and business to understand internal moves, succession planning, and building a strong pipeline of talent for roles.
  • Review future demand (skills and expertise) and workforce planning, linking into the central team based in London.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in leading the talent acquisition strategy and team within a function or organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, both in terms of building relationships and influencing at all levels.
  • Team management experience and managing/leading through others.
  • Project management skills.
  • Experience of including diversity and inclusion initiatives within talent acquisition.
  • Extensive experience of third-party supplier strategy and management.
  • Proven track record in delivering a talent acquisition strategy across multiple skill sets.
  • Broad understanding of human resources best practice.
  • Experience in establishing Early Careers (Apprenticeships and Graduate) Schemes.
  • Experience working with Learning & Development.
  • Mix of private and public sector talent acquisition experience.
