About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in promoting and embedding equality, diversity, and inclusion practices across our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on the development and implementation of our equality, diversity, and inclusion strategy, ensuring it is aligned with our organizational goals and values.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on equality, diversity, and inclusion matters, ensuring they are equipped to deliver inclusive services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and communities to promote our organization's commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Monitor and analyze equality data to inform service improvements and ensure we are meeting our equality objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and decision-makers to embed equality, diversity, and inclusion into our organizational culture and practices.
- Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion among staff and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular equality impact assessments to identify and mitigate potential biases and inequalities in our services.
- Work closely with our HR team to ensure our recruitment and retention practices are inclusive and equitable.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines related to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Provide support and guidance to staff on equality, diversity, and inclusion matters, ensuring they are equipped to deliver inclusive services.
Requirements
- Proven experience in equality, diversity, and inclusion roles, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data to inform service improvements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and partnership working.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of equality, diversity, and inclusion principles and practices, with a commitment to promoting and embedding inclusive cultures.
