About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Equality and Inclusion Manager to join our team at Touchstone. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion across our services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on the development and implementation of our Health Equity Action Plan, working closely with the LMWS Board and partners.

• Ensure that our services are accessible and meet the diverse needs of all stakeholders, addressing underlying inequalities in the health system and wider society.

• Provide leadership and management of our Inclusion Team, ensuring that staff are equipped to deliver high-quality services that promote equality and inclusion.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, commissioners, and contractors, promoting our organization's values and aims.

• Analyze complex data and intelligence, presenting findings to senior management teams and boards to inform service improvements and employment best practice.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 5 in Management or equivalent experience.

• Expert knowledge of equality legislation, anti-discrimination practice, and strategies to deliver equality of outcome.

• Strong understanding of the current issues within health and social care, particularly around mental health services.

• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize own workload, and meet timescales.

• Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to lead, manage, and motivate staff to meet targets and service priorities.
