Job Title: Senior Finance and Administration Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance and Administration Manager to join our team at The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. This is a critical role that will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support to our project office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial management and accounting services, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, including internal controls and financial regulations.
  • Supervise and train finance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee benefits and payroll.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including assets and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, including bid analysis and vendor management.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sub-grant management, including cash flow and compliance.
  • Provide administrative support to the Finance and Administration Director, including preparing reports and presentations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in finance and administration, including experience in managing and supervising finance staff.
  • CPA certification required.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience working in a non-profit organization or international development setting.
  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili languages.
  • Knowledge of United States Government rules and regulations.
