Chief Financial Strategist

Role Overview
A highly skilled Interim Financial Controller is sought to provide strategic financial guidance and management support to a leading Charity in Kent. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust financial operations, compliance, and effective resource allocation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash flow management.
- Publish accurate and timely financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with charity regulations and financial standards.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and monitor budgets aligned with strategic objectives.
- Manage the year-end audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Implement and refine financial policies, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and accountability.
Requirements
You will be an experienced qualified financial professional with a strong track record in financial management within the charity or non-profit sector. Your estimated salary would be £350-£450 per day.
