Role Overview

A highly skilled Interim Financial Controller is sought to provide strategic financial guidance and management support to a leading Charity in Kent. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust financial operations, compliance, and effective resource allocation.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash flow management.
  2. Publish accurate and timely financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Maintain compliance with charity regulations and financial standards.
  4. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and monitor budgets aligned with strategic objectives.
  5. Manage the year-end audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
  6. Implement and refine financial policies, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and accountability.

Requirements

You will be an experienced qualified financial professional with a strong track record in financial management within the charity or non-profit sector. Your estimated salary would be £350-£450 per day.
