Strategic Financial Controller

At Farrer Barnes Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Financial Controller to join our team on a 3-month contract basis. This interim role is ideal for professionals looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic finance department during a period of restructuring.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity involves working closely with our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the finance team to ensure timely completion of Management Accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to produce accurate and detailed accounts, leveraging your expertise to drive financial performance.
Your Key Responsibilities- Prominent roles include managing all aspects of management accounting, ensuring seamless execution of tasks within set deadlines.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial reporting processes, leading to enhanced efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to address ad-hoc requests and concerns, fostering strong relationships throughout the organization.
We require candidates with:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a comparable industry or sector.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality Management Accounts, showcasing exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing effective collaboration with colleagues at all levels.
We offer an attractive compensation package, including a competitive salary estimated to be between £60,000 and £80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits program tailored to support your career growth and well-being.
