Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our finance team in Canterbury, United Kingdom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, and analysis, ensuring the company's financial health and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring financial stability and liquidity.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end financial processes, including audits and financial statement preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations, maintaining a strong control environment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external auditors, banks, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management, informing business decisions and driving growth.
  • Implement and improve financial systems, policies, and procedures, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role, with a strong track record of financial management and leadership.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insights.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification is preferred, with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
