Financial Director

This senior position plays a key role in maintaining all key elements of the finance function, ensuring the team maintains good processes and practices, meeting deadlines, and delivering required financial reports for the business.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, including completing all balance sheet reconciliations. They will also prepare month-end journals for tax, prepayments, accrued income, and accrued expenditure. Additionally, they will provide commentary on actuals and budget variances for review.
The Senior Finance Manager will take ownership of HMRC, VAT, and company audit responsibilities. They will also assist all areas of the wider business with ad-hoc financial support, providing excellent communication skills and the ability to work and build rapport with non-finance stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should possess ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualifications or equivalent experience. They should have a strong understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning. Advanced Excel skills and a true team player mindset are essential for this role.
