Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Lending and Brokerage Manager to join our commercial lending team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for managing our commercial broker network and building relationships with external partners.

Your primary objective will be to maintain a portfolio of commercial brokers who actively introduce opportunities to the bank and deliver on new ways to support business growth. You will work closely with our internal departments to progress opportunities and generate customers through business development approaches such as introducer leads and networking events.

In addition, you will foster Metro Bank's relationship with the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) and other finance broker associations to grow brand recognition amongst their broker members.

You will also build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Commercial Lending directors and other regional teams. As a Lending and Brokerage Manager, you will provide coaching and support to Local Directors, Local Business Managers, and Commercial Lending team colleagues, promoting opportunities for learning and growth.

The salary for this role is approximately £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
