We are seeking a highly skilled cost management specialist to join P&G Brickworks and P&G Scaffolding as a key member of our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs from initial calculations to final figures, ensuring the financial success of our construction projects. They will work closely with directors, contracts managers, and other professionals to manage project costs, providing expert advice on cost management and contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project budgets, including forecasting and monitoring costs
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all project-related costs and financial transactions
  • Provide expert advice on procurement, risk management, and cost-saving measures
  • Take commercial responsibility for several projects, including negotiations up to and including final account agreements
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced quantity surveyor who can take commercial responsibility for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A competitive salary is offered for this role, with an estimated annual income of £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
