Chief Cost Manager Kent

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Cost Manager to join our team in Canterbury, Kent. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead project-based work with flexibility for occasional remote working.
About the RoleThis Chief Cost Manager position involves managing projects valued at £25m, covering sectors such as Residential, Commercial, and Education. The ideal candidate will have experience with JCT and NEC contracts, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Manage project costs, ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely completion.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to business growth by identifying new opportunities and developing strategic plans.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Extensive experience in quantity surveying, cost management, or a related field.
- A strong understanding of construction contracts, including JCT and NEC.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
We offer a competitive salary range of £70-88,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package including car allowance, travel allowance, bonus, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, and private healthcare.
