We are a leading construction company based in the Southern Home Counties, with a reputation for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be working within our dynamic team to assist the Project Surveyor with quantity surveying duties.

Job Description:

As an experienced and talented Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will have a sound working knowledge of the cost coding structure for projects. Your responsibilities will include undertaking costing activities, measuring completed works, and providing effective financial and contractual control on all contracts allocated within the business unit.

The role is project-based, with flexibility for occasional remote working, and you will work closely with other team members to deliver successful outcomes. You will have a strong understanding of JCT and NEC contracts, as well as experience working on projects in the education and healthcare sectors.

  • Salary: £35,000 - £47,000 per annum
  • Package: Car allowance, travel allowance, bonus, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private health care, death in service, excellent progression opportunities

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a solid understanding of quantity surveying principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. You will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
