Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Nationwide
Job Type: Full time/permanent & Hybrid (3 days in the office and 2 at home)
Salary: £50,000 – £52,000 per annum
About the Role:
As a key member of our team, the Finance Manager will oversee all financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing strategic financial guidance to support our organisation's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage our organisation's budget, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Financial Reporting: Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing regular reports to senior management and the board of directors
- Financial Control: Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Financial Transactions: Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Collaboration: Collaborate with program managers to develop funding proposals and grant applications
- Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision–making processes
- Relationship Management: Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem–solving skills
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
