About the Role:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies to engage with local communities, promote social inclusion, and drive economic growth. You will work closely with stakeholders, including voluntary and community sector organizations, local authorities, and other key partners to achieve these goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with community groups, voluntary sector organizations, and other stakeholders to identify areas of need and develop solutions
  • Developing and implementing community engagement strategies that promote social inclusion and economic growth
  • Leading on contract management and service delivery arrangements to ensure effective delivery of community-focused services
  • Working effectively with interdependent internal services and voluntary, community, and statutory services to ensure our Strengthening Communities Strategy is delivered in accordance with the Council Plan
  • Driving an overall approach to relevant service delivery, delivering the transformation of services, and effectively managing resources within allocated budgets and financial targets
  • Maximizing the impact of all aspects of Kingston's creative and cultural heritage and supporting the development of the borough's cultural strategy
  • Exploiting opportunities to develop alternative delivery models with communities and stakeholders that generate income, enable independence, and reduce council subsidy across services
  • Actively engaging with the development of local, regional, and national agendas to ensure Kingston's has a voice as a key player in shaping strategic policy


Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum
