Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive events strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manage the logistics of events, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual equipment.
  • Coordinate with speakers, sponsors, and attendees to ensure a successful event.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of events, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Work closely with our Membership Manager to maximize the engagement of event attendees and convert them into members.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with event stakeholders, including suppliers, members, committees, and Board members.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in event management, preferably in a non-profit or charity setting.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with CRM systems and event management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
